UPCOMING EVENTS
July 9, 2025 | 5pm - 7pm EDT
B Local Boston and Calls for Action
400 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02215
Join us on July 9th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm for B Local Boston’s July event. We are collaborating with the Boston Public Art Triennial for an evening of art, great food and drink, and networking.
The theme for this year’s Triennial is The Exchange and it aligns with our missions as part of the B Corp Community. The Exchange invites collaboration between artists and local experts to spark dialogue around the issues shaping our city and world. It asks us to consider what we share, how we listen, and what we build together. The event includes a preview of Julian Charrière’s artwork Calls for Action, which features a live audio and video feed to a threatened rainforest in the southern Brazilian Amazon.
The Boston Public Art Triennial is a citywide exhibition of contemporary public art that takes place every three years. Through bold commissions and community-rooted projects, they foster relationships between artists and the public, creating powerful experiences that open minds, conversations, and spaces across Boston. The Triennial will run from May to October 2025, presenting 15 compelling commissioned artworks sprawled across the city. Each visionary local, national, and international artist will produce sculptures, interactive exhibits, or performance-based and community-led activities with an emphasis on East Boston, Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan, ensuring equitable representation and access.
